Microstructural Evolution of Cold-Deformed and Isothermally Treated ZA27 Alloys

نویسندگان

چکیده

Pure ZA27 alloys and with Cu Mg additions were cast deformed by compression. Samples of both heat treated at 460°C after deformation the evolution microstructure as a function time measured. The results showed that average grain size increases increase for alloys, coarsening rate which is 55% lower alloyed alloy than pure alloy. X-ray diffraction analysis indicated containing present ε phase not in non-alloyed alloy; α η phases transform to β during treatment. Microhardness measurements has higher microhardness

Microstructural Evolution of X45CrNiW189 Valve Steel During Hot Deformation

The hot compression tests were carried on X45CrNiW189 valve steel (X45) in the temperature range of 1000– 1200 °C and the strain rate range of 0.004 – 0.5 s-1 in order to study the high temperature softening behavior of this steel. For the exact prediction of flow stress, the effective stress-effective strain curves were obtained from experiments under various conditions. On the basis of experi...

Microstructural Evolution and Phase Formation in 2nd-Generation Refractory-Based High Entropy Alloys

Refractory-based high entropy alloys (HEAs) of the 2nd-generation type are new intensively-studied materials with a high potential for structural high-temperature applications. This paper presents investigation results on microstructural evolution and phase formation in as-cast and subsequently heat-treated HEAs at various temperature-time regimes. Microstructural examination was performed by m...

Part I. The Microstructural Evolution in Ti-Al-Nb O 1 Bcc Orthorhombic Alloys

Phase transformations and the resulting microstructural evolution of near-Ti2AlNb and Ti-12Al38Nb O 1 bcc orthorhombic alloys were investigated. For the near-Ti2AlNb alloys, the processing temperatures were below the bcc transus, while, for Ti-12Al-38Nb, the processing temperature was supertransus. Phase evolution studies showed that these alloys contain several constituent phases, namely, bcc,...
